Putting the Pedal to the Medal and Pencil to Paper

Drawing with traditional mediums has always been a fascination of mine. The care artists put into shading and making things appear three-dimensional, is truly inspiring. My problem is that I don't do it enough. Repetition and practice are by far the most effective ways to improve your art, but between school, work, and everything else, it's hard to find the time. Recently, I've been taking time at least once a week to sit down and sketch something. I'm not always happy with the results, and sometimes I lack all inspiration, but it's a step in the right direction. Eventually, I'd love to digitize my sketches as well. Line art is fun for me, but I have little to no experience in coloring art with digital mediums. As I move forward, I hope to draw more and push myself to learn more about different art forms.
