Since my last blog post, Digital Design and Animation (DDA) has intensified. Detailed sketches are due every week, we've had many tests and quizzes on history, the industry and what scientifically makes a design appealing. We've also gone over important skills in Adobe Photoshop like blending, using layers, editing images and the different strategies of selecting an area. I know the skills we learn now will be some of the most important we ever learn in this world of design.
Learning how to use layers and blending tools correctly ha been especially critical and I'm sure they'll continue to be. Layers in particularly have been important, I've used them in every project we've had so far. They are the most important thing to understand in photoshop. Blending, on the other hand, is more significant, when you're editing a photo and isn't as important when using the draw program. Obviously, strategies of selection are important in all aspects of design using Adobe photoshop but that's a little more simple than the other key concepts. All of these methods are pretty simple and easy to understand but it's dire to get a full grasp on these ideas so you can easily execute them promptly.
