In the past my experiences with drawing digitally have been through school but this time I worked independently on a project with FireAlpaca. This process was interesting, I did get frustrated with my progress many times and I ended up preferring just the line art over my rough colored version. It took me a while to get the hang of figuring out how to achieve solid smooth lines but I got there. I had started with the left arm and after many attempts I was happy with it. The rest of the line art went pretty smoothly but it did end up taking about four hours. Today I finished the drawing with color but even after many tutorials I was unsatisfied. I will definitely be doing some practice with digital shading and I've already downloaded brushes that I think will make a huge difference. For my first attempt at drawing digitally on my own I'm happy enough with it but I'm hoping that with some experience and studying I can eventually reach where I dream to be.
The colored version of my first project
I drew digitally on my own for the first time and while I wasn't totally happy with the end result it's not a bad place to start out.
